We first review the debt background, amount outstanding, debtor contact information and relevant documents provided by the client, then develop an appropriate recovery approach for the case.

Recovery work may include telephone contact, written notices, field follow-up, information checks and mediation-based communication. The methods used depend on the nature of the case and available information.

Generally, service commission is calculated on amounts actually recovered. If no amount is successfully recovered, the related success commission is not charged.

If a case involves additional investigation, legal procedures, special documents or other third-party expenses, these will be explained to the client before the relevant work begins.

We recommend providing documents that show the debt relationship and amount outstanding, such as contracts, orders, invoices, delivery notes, statements, cheque copies, communication records and payment promises.

Clients should also provide the debtor’s name or company name, contact details, last known address and other identifying information.

Timing depends on the age of the debt, whether the debtor can still be contacted, whether the debt is disputed, the completeness of information and the debtor’s repayment ability.

We follow the case as it progresses and report significant developments to the client.

The case information can first be submitted for an initial assessment. The longer a debt has been outstanding, the more likely the debtor’s contact details, financial circumstances and company status are to have changed, so early action is advisable.

If a case may involve legal limitation periods or legal procedures, clients should separately seek advice from a qualified legal professional.

You may call our 24-hour enquiry hotline Mr Chan: (852) 9183 3919 , or submit basic information through the website contact form.

For an initial review, please prepare the amount outstanding, background to the matter, basic information about the other party and relevant documents.

You may submit the matter for an initial assessment, and early action is generally preferable. If a bankruptcy order has already been made, the appropriate next steps may be different and should be assessed according to the applicable insolvency procedures and professional advice.

Yes, the matter can be submitted for assessment. We have handled previously referred cases, and background verification can be important in reassessing available contact and asset leads.

Our success-based charging model generally means that the relevant recovery commission is charged on amounts successfully recovered, subject to the agreed terms and any separately disclosed costs.

Different jurisdictions have different laws, so fees and handling methods may differ from Hong Kong. We generally review the client’s documents before determining the applicable fee arrangement.

We use mediation and other lawful, proportionate communication and follow-up methods to encourage repayment while seeking to protect the client’s commercial reputation throughout the recovery process.

We also protect our own commercial reputation and therefore do not use unlawful recovery methods.

We first carry out information searches and analysis, using accumulated data resources and identity-verification tools to cross-check available information. Where new lawful information is identified, our service team may use it for telephone or field follow-up while continuing to verify relevant debtor information and location leads.

During a recovery engagement, a debtor may contact you to discuss payment or request negotiations.

You can tell the debtor that the matter has been referred to us and ask them to contact the designated account officer directly. Avoid disclosing unnecessary information or entering extended discussions that could affect case coordination.
