Service Fees

When recovery is successful, the client pays service commission at the rate specified in the agreement. No service commission is charged on amounts that we do not successfully recover for the client. Service commission is determined with reference to the following factors:

Age and Amount of the Debt

General service commission is determined according to the case category and the age of the overdue debt.

Local Cases	30%	35%	40%
Mainland China Cases	35%	40%	45%
Overseas Cases	35%	40%	45%

For cases where a business has ceased operations or closed, or contact with the debtor has been lost and additional resources are required to locate the debtor, the service fee is generally not less than 40% and is capped at 50% per case. Fees for large debts may be negotiated separately.

The above service-commission rates may be adjusted after discussion with the client to reflect the particular circumstances of an individual case.

Location of Recovery Work

Where recovery work is required outside Hong Kong, fees vary by location and may be agreed separately.

Recoverability of the Account

A lower service fee may be agreed for cases where detailed information is available and the debtor can be contacted directly.

Volume of Cases

Volume referrals and long-term clients may be eligible for preferential service rates.
